Hey all,

Just wanted to share my recent service experiences with you.

I had an evap leak, and because my SVT is supercharged, most dealerships wouldnt' take a look, or had to do it "hush-hush."

I called Tparker (already posted...man among men!), and he connected me with Tymeks. I called Chad @ 7PM last night, and he set up a service appointment today when they were already slammed, with a Ford/Mazda tech, Josh.

I went down to see Josh, and he'd asked a friend Brandon to look over my car. It took Brandon approximately 15 minutes to hook up the smoke machine, diagnose the problem (don't know if this was all of it, but it was a big, big piece!), and head up to the parts counter to get the needed part.

Back under the car, removed old leaking valve near coal chamber, replaced, started up, and all set! Also put in a fuel filter for me in under 5 minutes (not counting the 91+ bath Brandon got to take).

All in all, I was in and out with all diagnostics, repairs, and even an additional service completed in under ONE HOUR!

When I arrived home, Chad had already left a message to check on things from a customer service angle. I called and reported my glowing review...and he was still answering business calls at almost 8 PM!

Fellow Desert Foci: Tymeks and his techs Brandon and Josh are highly professional, experienced (Brandon drove a turbo Focus SVT for a good while), and went WAY, WAY above and beyond to ensure a positive service experience for me.

I would give this dealership experience my highest recommendation, and encourage anyone with aftermarket issues to contact him.

Chad, thanks again for watching out for fellow FJ members...you've earned at least one new customer!

I'm new here, so I'm out of the loop. Where is this glorious place you guys speak of?
 
SO I've only been to Tempe Lincoln/Merc once, but it was good, Chad keeps you fully informed and doesn't short change you on the time he takes to explain your situation. I would give them a thumb up and a recommendation to anyone asking. If I'm a little ho hum sounding remember the DDJ has been to 5 different dealers as well as a general maint shop and I have a long list of horror stories. For me to actually recommend someone is quite a change for me......

Drop Tymeks or me a PM, as I am not sure about posting business names on the forums...don't want to step on any toes.

Tymeks, if you're clear to post your business name, perhaps responding in this thread would be good?

Honestly, one of the best focus-related service experiences I have had.

Chuck Norris kicked my fuel door off , he said I should get 10 extra hp now, but I am skeptical. How much for a new one? 01 zx3:lol:
