how much money you got?

motorex gets skylines into the US all the time. they might be able to tell you what you would need to do.

website is still up. where did you hear that they were out of business?

It would be weird if it made it into canada and wasn't conveted. canada had even stupider vehicle laws that we do.

motorex is out of business. i think they exported other illegal good or something. im sure the owner is in jail tho.

you can import r33s they are approved to be imported. it will cost money and fine someone that knows about importing things. i think you need a bunch of paper work. like a letter form the manufature and proof the cars been registered here before. both shouldnt be hard to obtain. heres a link with some info

Looks like dude has not just the one, but TWO Skylines. The one for sale looks like it could use some interior work though, it's lookin kinda rough on the inside. And maybe a good engine bay cleaning.

Actually Canada allows the importation of any car that is older than 15 years with no strings attached essentially. We have a similar law on our books, but are forced to wait an extra decade to get what we want. By that point it is almost not worth the hassle.

.

News flash, the owner and fellow employees went down for laundering, drug, rent dodging, not installing proper safety regulations, etc...

And yes, motorex kept it as a trade secret and were the only ones. So it's dam near just as impossible as importing a new ST220 from overseas (as a daily or more than show car driver)

My cousin actually has a connection to a Skyline R32-GTR currently who is selling there's. (bought it for his daughter for a first car, and now she wants a SUV, so she is selling dirt cheap.) If he doesn't buy, i'll post up on FJ

Get a residence somehow in Canada and just drive it hear in the states, register it to the residence in Canada.
that was how my friend got his trueno into the US from canada for $300 but after talking to him about it last night he said the chances of that happening again since 9/11 would be slim to none and if the car doesnt have a canadian vin there would be no way to register it in the US so there goes my lil dream car, ill just stick to my svtf and beef that up to the max WHEN i have the money to do it haha i should join the air force and get some cash that way.
