Ok so here is whats going on

when driving the rear shakes really bad, side to side. Feels like the rear end of the car wants to go in a different direction then the front of the car.
i can hear it grind also. there are times when it stops for couple of second but then it just starts again.

checked the lug nuts, all properly secured.
checked tire pressure, all good.

when i grab the rim and shake it in all directions, i can feel the wheel wobble a little. its like its not attached to the drum (well it is but just feels like its not). what the hell is wrong. im at work now, and hopefully ill make it home without the wheel falling off.
(drivers side rear wheel is where the problem is at)

ive been out of town for the whole week and when i came back there were 350+ more miles on the car then when i left it, and i think my sister did something she doesnt want me to know. hopefully its nothing big. and if it is and she doesnt want to pay for the repairs ill just have to sue her, but thats a whole different thread.

so what can it be? could the nut thats holding the drum in place be loose a little??
anything else? suggestion welcome.

Sounds like you need a new wheel bearing. Do be careful driving the car, as the drums will not hold the wheel in place if the bearing goes completely. Grinding and movement of the wheel are textbook wheel bearing failure symptoms.

ok so i dropped off my lovely focus at the mechanic today

things wrong with it
rear wheel bearing
something with a signal not being sent to the computer, thats why ABS light is on (something like that)
leak in the gas tank
too much air getting into the engine thru the fuel (or something like that)
exhaust leak somewhere (possibly from block/header connection)

so should be done by friday, not going to be too expensive. uncle is the mechanic.
