Bull****!!!!!

Sorry, that car is pushing 240 whp, easily. You're a lying (nice intellectual primate)

And pushing about 3300 lbs.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that when you said BOV you meant wastegate, like tuning a wastegate spring for more boost. Fine.

If you came here to pick an internet fight, dude, you win. We surrender. Go back to Vortex and tell everyone how you pWn3d the Focus board.

Nice way to work that post count, btw.

You're a ****in' dork. If that's all you think it does, you deserve to be driving a 'Duratech' . A ****ing *** mobile at best. I notice you said, "no one is worried about (you) at the track". That's cause I smoke you guys all day and all night on the road. My only enemy is the SRT-4, real road conditions. And so everyone knows, SRT-4 + $6, not taking me anytime soon.:thumbdown
Your only enemy is the srt4? Damn, you must have one bad ass ride. I wish I could run 14s!!

I didn't start it. I was playing nice, thought I'd share real info about the 1.8t platform. As chipping was being brought up. Even if it was years ago. So I'll play nice if you/they will. Damn, I just like talking cars. I actually hate the Vortex, a marketplce showroom where people just make their cars pretty, but argue about how fast someone else's car is. They put up their little two finger peace sign when I drive by, F-em

last time I went- 60' @ 2.414, 14.9 @ 94mph- @ 5 lbs
This time I went-60' @ 2.47, 14.47 @ 98mph- @ 12 lbs

Drag radials are a must for next time.

Since when do these only weigh 2400 lbs. Now who's lying.

lol you moron, you obviously know nothing about cars anyways...how the **** do you compare nitrous to a turbo? LOL....a lot of you Vdub kids are the same, thinking you are all intellectual, but hey buddy deep down your car is a mexican piece of **** just like my Focus. And kid dont try to school me, I have dealt with more track and horsepower/tuning experience in a day than you have in your whole life, this is the slowest car i have owned, it is my daily driver, and I made it go 14's for a few hundred bucks, to look at the funny faces on your 1.8t buddys cars when I walk them in a focus with my shiny hubcaps.

You stupid troll, go back to vortex you ****

Hey little boy pay attention!!! I own the SRT-4 in question along with my 2.3 Focus for a daily driver. It must really hurt your feelings that your turbocharged piece of **** cant even beat what a 2.3 focus runs all motor. How sad for you and your car.

You have no idea what youre talking about saying your car weighs 2400lbs you are over 600lbs off.

You didnt post your age which means you are young and you didnt put where you live. Tell you what we have fast Foci all over the country. What city do you live in or what track do you run at and we will gladly send someon down there to hand you your ass.

ANd any SRT-4 even with a crappy driver and multiple boost leaks on a stock srt-4 will own you. ANd yes $6 in parts will kill you. $2 spring mod set at 18.5lbs and exhaust dumped after down pipe and driver mod = 13.0 with my girl driving it a California speedway. Maybe you too can some day run a 13sec timeslip after spending another $3000 on your flower holder VW.

ANd by the way you can drive for **** with a 2.4 60'

Go back to Vortex troll

wow thats a great time i would be happy with that for 11 psi.

good way to make a good first impression guys. dont mind these guys skip. they're just mad that the only fofo that came with fi stock never got imported to the us. I actully like gti's and boosted vw's. they own up here becuase of the altitude, the turbo makes em just as fast as they are at sealevel while everyone else has to deal with the .5 seconds increase in 1/4mi times up here. welcome to the jet!!!

wow d00d thats awesome i bet u were pwning civics all nite!!

The only one I remember (civic) was low 11.

1) I'm not saying I'm not impressed with the Srt-4, I've talked it up elsewhere. But $6, that's ****ing insane. What hp do they come with?

2) My BOV circulates into the intake/before turbo. The adjustment, that I have to f-with when the weather changes a few degrees, keeps an optimum pressure for quicker spool.

3) I've only spent maybe a grand for a car that I know will be a 13.9 car at least. Unfortunately, it'll be at the cost of coilovers, drag radials and a front mount intercooler. I've blown two poly couplings (before my tiny side mount).

Turbo cars lose just as much in the clouds as NA cars do, the only difference is you can keep cranking up the boost. Nitrous is the power adder made for the clouds.

uhm... the bypass valve alleviates compressor surge and does not need adjustment with weather. If it is aftermarket, you set it to the proper stiffness so it doesn't leak or release slowly and then forget about it. If it is stock, you do nothing at all.

I'm letting you know I do. Atmospheric pressure changes, i.e. cold weather-hot weather, change the density of air into the turbo.
And so I'm off-------2952 lbs. for a jetta, 2850 for a GTI. Still, it's not 3300. It is for me. But not usually for others.

Changes the density, yes. But density has no bearing on your bypass valve, only pressure does.

I'm not continuing with this arguement. Unless there is a physicist, or aeronautical engineer. Hell, a meteorologist would do. Until that, trust me. It has no bearing on your hate. Hate is a disease you know.

What am I hating on beyond your spewing of inaccurate statements? I like GTIs... not particularly fond of jettas, but only because I don't like sedans. And I am certainly not hating because you're fast being that you're really pretty slow. lol

Please, explain to us why your bypass valve needs adjusted for launching and weather changes. What valve are you running, by the way?

The EIP, Type "S" Blow Off Valve conversion kit is designed to add the now unavailable Greddy blow off valve to a VW 1.8T 20v application. This upgrade suits both stock turbochargers and heavily modified vehicles featuring large turbo conversions. This high quality blow off valve produces the desirable blow off valve "sound" while releasing excess boost pressure to protect your turbocharger from premature wear. Simple to install. The conversion includes the complete reroute setup as well as the machined hardware plugs and clamps to run the blow off valve so that it vents to atmosphere. **

so that it vents to atmosphere
Unless it recirculates into the intake sytem, before the turbo inlet tube.
