Are they done in vinyl? I never really looked at them, always thought the were a bolt on or adheasive piece of fiberglass/plastic. If they can be in vinyl, with the right template, yes we could do them.

I'm pretty sure that most of the time they are vinyl, but what do I know.

hey Jack I have some stock headlights for the 00-04 I can lend you to make templates for vinyl eyelids. all it would cost is a set of vinyl eyelids.:thumbup::lol::garage:

yea but I dont want to have to paint something. I would rather just get vinal that was allready the right color.

hah. that's the only problem that i see with them in vinyl. black, silver, copper, and black you don't really need to worry about matching the color, since they are standard colors. anything else, you will have to hope that vinly comes in a color similar to it.. you can always print vinyl, but its not the same and definitely has a different finish than car paint..

i like the white better personally, but i kind of need to get away from the white at the same time. probably going to use a cobalt blue metallic or reflective. as for the pavs, gotta work unfortunately.

also, with this design, i'm probably going to need to remove the back emblem and reapply it after applying the decals. how hard is it to remove? i assume, its screwed into the hatch and i will have to remove the interior panel to get to the screws?..

Which emblem? The Focus emblem or the Ford emblem on the hatch strip? The Focus emblem is two sided taped to the hatch. No screws or removing interior.

i like the blue, but with less on the rear bumper, thats gonna be a bitch to wrap man, especially with the contours on the bumper, like that little accent groove that runs around it.

i swiped some small metallic and reflective scraps from work and started to play with them. just trying to see how well it works with the color...

metallic blue focus decal on the hood and metallic blue oval with white reflective over the emblem.
