Some admin created the "anti-me" and posted here cuz they know I hate Clarkson.

Anyways, like I said this is from his latest DVD where the premise is that Clarkson goes all around the US trying to find at least one good car. Did ANY Clarkson apologists read my posts (it has 99% of the vid)? Obviously, he's trying to prove that there aren't, so this review was tailored to that, sloppily and lazily driving around the slowest possible Mustang one could put together. Pointing out any previous actually positive reviews of the Mustang GT by Clarkson is just further evidence he's an inconsistent asshat. And this is not a "slight oversight" as not only does it look completely different which any "car guy" would see (yet alone an automotive journalist reviewing the car), but even if you had never heard of Ford, you'd know the difference in sound between the V6 and V8.

And no one has ever complained about Clarkson's consistent INconsistency before! ;) Clarkson's formula has and always will be to go for whatever he thinks will make an episode that will get the highest ratings (particularly catered towards his 'still bitter about getting their ass kicked by the colonies' British audience). Nothing more, nothing less. Hell, I'm surprised no one has thrown in the "but he owns a Ford GT" defense yet... If you are just tuning in for a freak-show with Hollywood pizazz, then by all means have at it, as I'll admit he does some exciting wacky reviews that even a classroom of ADD kids wouldn't risk blinking during.
i agree with you 100% the show is about rating most shows are. i know he puts cars that are no where near int he same class together. like a pretty much race preped lotus vs a mustang. then he says on he has twice the cylinders. ok drop a supercharger on the stang see what happens then. and i heard he got rid of the gt something about him not fitting right in it. i like the show, but i dont take anything in it seriously.

ducman posted the video in his post to the almost full video. it has rhe whole race just not the part where he talks at the end.
In my last post i was talking about the original posters video. Meanwhile i was searching for the full package...

Ummm yeah, good job Duccy. Lets edit it back into one of your old posts when others had already posted afterwards.........

So others who don't go through reading entire threads three times won't see it.....

but yeah he def lost on purpose like said even a v6 can atleast get a little chirp when taking off. he just casually took off. he may have lied about how many seconds it took i dont know. i find it hard to believe. unless that was a straight up high bred race horse. those are crazy fast and can beat alot of cars around a short track.

It was an automatic, unless you do a neutral drop it probably won't chirp stomping on the gas.

no it will trust me. then again i have a few things done to mine and dont remember stock much. ill have to set the xcal back to stock and see.

and if it doesnt thats the ford crappy lets wait a half a second before we recognize your stepping ont he gas tune. why cant ford make an auto that doesnt do that.

It was posted in there at 12:50 (typo fixed 3 mins later) cuz it took a second to find, and I pointed it out again just incase anybody missed it in all bold at 1:30, and then again quoted in bold at 1:34. It wasn't sneaky or something I just added. Cmon. :p

A neutral drop? Dude its an auto, even on a geo-metro you just step on the brake for a second, rev it, and let go.

Either way though, thats 240ftlbs of torque spinning all-season touring 215s on a dirty oval... cmon. He was driving the slowest possible configuration Mustang (automatic, loaded, convertible, V6) casually and representing it as a 300hp GT to fit into his "all American cars suck" DVD.

Your opinion of Clarkson seems extremely biased and uneducated, I've seen him compliment numerous American cars since the days of Motorworld.

One episode of top gear I saw a while ago, had the Chrystler 300 Srt in it. Clarky called it a "Lazy Fat Cow". Then he compaired it to a Jag Supercharged somthin or other. The Jag was slightly faster, but it also cost allot more than the SRT (a fact that Clarky never mentioned). He treated them as if they were the same price... at that point I turned the TV off.

yea this is from some new dvd he is putting out ducman mentioned it earlier. Also like ducman mentioned clarkson has driven more cars than anybody on here most likely, he should have been able to tell it wasn't the V8 model from the start.

Personally i can care less what clarkson has to say i just thought it was funny intentional or not. i just hope people take his reviews with a grain of salt. :)

anyone know where did this chunk of video come from? Must be the new season...

also, and this is a small possability but still, how do we know that the mustang doesn't come with the lower trim package and a v8 in europe? I certainly can't find the stang anywhere on Ford UK site...

I give up on some of you guys.

Did you read anything I had to say? ANYTHING? I mean really READ it and not just cover your eyes after the first sentence and scream to yourself "NO! NO! NO! ITS NOT TRUE! NOOOOO!!! I <3 JOO JEREMY!". :p

Again, it is from his new DVD with the premise that he is touring the entire united states on the search for a single good car. I have also pointed out about a thousand times on [FJ] that he basically just caters to the British audience that loves Yank jokes and generally gets a kick out of dissing American cars and giving big props to anything remotely British, but that in any case he is rather inconsistent. Whether he praises or slanders a vehicle though, its usually not even based on real merits or issues with the vehicle, just making it even more of a joke. Oh well, for some it is pointless as Clarkson can do no wrong, and because he has driven a lot of cars, he is a good honest automotive journalist and not the Howard Stern of the auto-world.
