People just want to get into the furthest left lane, put the cruise control on, and take a virtual nap, the rest of the world be damned. Yet we demonise an extra 10mph rather than the bad drivers.

pssh 141, I would have to taunt them... :lol: But really that's WAY too fast for crappy american roads. Living in the southwest yea you can get away with it, but i would not recommend it. Anyways good luck

As for people getting on the highway and going straight to the center lane (luckily the idiots that get straight on a highway and cut across lanes stop one lane over from the left ) I am quite tired of them. I have been getting more and more horn happy since I am on a bike, and I basically drive with my thumb on the horn. If I even think a car is going to cut over I hit the horn and start to make a lane change to the far left. Most people seam to get the idea though and stop moveing over.

Im sure the accord can run mid 140s. I rented a hyunai sonata, it quit pulling at 135ish
So you can break it and push it off the track to the closest street and call roadside service. Isn't the Sonata the one in the new commercial that is saying it's more badderass than the BMW?

Meh, the dumbasses shoudn't have stopped. Article said it was early Sunday morning. I don't know too many people on the roads then.
Just have to be smart about it, I know I've topped out my Cobra 4 times (160mph governed), all with an emptyish road.

I don't know whether he took it to the track or not...he just mentioned that he was going 135 miles per hour...which is generally something people on FJ only talk about publicly if it's on a track. Nevermind though...:dunno: (Personally, I think it would be a blast to take a rental ****box to a track and race it...which pretty much means I'm halfway there.
