i already cut the resonator but i wonder if i cut out the mufler how will it be. loud? or how? I want no mufler and a straight pipe...

you can get in a lot of trouble w/cops w/that. if u get pulled and the cop looks under and there isnt a muffler, he can write u a ticket, ive had it happen to friends.. it will definately be louder, but since u still have 2 cats it shouldnt be too bad, especially with the small piping. also, juss so u know, the tinting u have is illegal. at least im 99% sure it is, dunno about CA but limmo tint all around is illegal everywhere i believe on a street car.
i got no resonator and is not loud at all... my car has tints but i do not get tickets for tints. i got one for speeding since damn cali drivers do not allow you to pass and treid to pass and they spot me at 51 in a 35... my first ever speeding ticket and 3 over all...

All I have is a high flow cat and a muffler. It's pretty loud (my wife complains, and nearly refuses to ride in my car). Never had a problem with the popo. But, then again I live in north SD county.

man i got the MBRP exhaust and tahts a loud exhaust. adn limo tint all around. my car is all illegal just by looking at it. lol
Actually most would be surprised to hear that as long as both cats are still in place the car is surprisingly reasonable with no mufflers. I ran the Focussport exhaust modified to include both cats with the muffler removed for a couple years. Its noisier inside the car than out. I never got a second look from a police officer, even when driving right behind me.
Obviously, it's a little hard to convey how loud it was through a text post but those cats do a pretty good job of muffling on their own. Think stock SRT-4 for a noise comparison.

i have an 06 zx3 and it has the cat and muffler cut off goes header resonater then staraight all the way back its pretty loud doesn't have that rice sound either but it all depends on where you live and what kind of emissions you have if you have any.

Actually.....jason, you were louder than most. You were 2.5 piping, with no muffler. I know this guys, it used to mine, but i got rid of it quick.
