I have two new o2 sensors that I was planning on changing this weekend but I just realized that I do not know which is the front and which is the rear. Anyone know the part numbers from the front and rear?

Thanks.

The geniuses at Autozone said the only difference in the two Bosch sensors is the length of the wiring harness. Be interested to know if that is true for the OEM part.

there are two identical o2 sensors for the front, only difference between them is the length of the wiring. That is in fact... true.

Now... don't go and buy the AutoZone o2 sensors, buy the Ford parts, otherwise it'll void your emissions warranty. I found that out the hard way, and had to spend $800 on a new PCM that otherwise would have been covered.

For those that don't know, the emissions warranty is good for 8 years on certain parts... just because your bumper to bumper or extended warranty is expired doesn't mean you should just skimp out on parts. I ****ed up, and I am just trying to save some other poor sap from making the same mistake I did.

These are Ford parts but the rear o2 sensor has a different part number than what was posted. It is YS4Z-9G444-AA

As far as installing it's easy: connectors are color coded
One has a blue plug the other green.
