So i blew my motor two days ago. took off from a stop light...got to 3200 and went to shift and pop and smoke rolled out the back. the pictures are pretty self explanatory. i have the motor pretty much out of the car. i will have the new motor mounted on sunday.

thanks chris.

ya i had the head off the car in 2 hours. i had everything stripped out. the only thing in the car at the moment is block and tranny. i need to take the block out but i gotta support the tranny.

i am hoping to have the motor outta the wrecked SVT in a couple hours. im hoping by ten to midnite tonight. i should have it mounted by mid tomorrow. i want to have the car running tomorrow. but i am being realistic. a swap like this isnt easy...

but funny what i can do in 5 days...it took f2 10 weeks to do a 6spd swap that they did incorrectly.

What happened there? Did it somehow cause this?

Did you hydrolock or something? How did this happen?

There are a crack team of techs working on it.

Well...

By crack team I mean I few guys with no plans on a saturday that Derrick suckerd into comming down to his pad.

The pictures actually dont do justice. It looks cooler in person.

Nitrous is what happened. You know, Cocaine Horsepower.

Though he wasn't juicing at the time, the prior abuse had hammered the wonderful stock roddages and one decided to pack it in as something like this usually does, just to0ling around.
