What do you guys think personally i think it looks awesome.

wow rice hmmm i dont consider anything on this car to be rice but ok thats your opinion. when i think of black wheels i think of super touring cars, or saleen mustangs. I htink it looks meaner it's just more me I guess i like the other wheels a lot also but they just aren't my style. but the good news is i can change them back and forth whenever i want.2focusd said:If those were EAP wheels or Steel Grey Rotas of some sort (which is precisely what I was planning on doing to this car until I realized I couldn't swing it yet financially) then I'd say go for it, but the all-black look on those SVT wheels just kills the clean OEM+ styling of that car and makes it teeter on the boundary of rice :dunno:

are the Ford Racing wheels on the sedan now?
It's cool everyone has a right to there own opinion and I do see where your coming from I got the stock hood here in the garage I think i'll throw it on this weekend and see how it looks. I think the wheels look better in person with the sun hitting them cause they are gloss black there is alot more contrast it was overcast when i took those pictures and it is hard in the pics to see what the wheels are I would never run flat black wheels that would for sure look like steelie's.2focusd said:Donny I'm in no way calling Mike's old car rice. Mike will be the first to vouch for just how badly I wanted to make this car mine, but I couldn't swing it financially and I'm happy to see it go to a good home. I personally just can't get into all-black wheels without a polished lip or anything because that's the setup nearly every Honda runs in my area, and often times I find myself looking at that setup on any car and thinking "hmm, are those steelies or expensive wheels?" plus as v8FociDreams alluded to, it plays mind games with the drop since the wheels and tires blend together and all just become one shadow.
I do think though that if you're gonna leave the black wheels you need to run the stock hood again
