So I've been getting some weird popping noise out of the passenger front when I turn the wheel or go over bumps slow, any ideas what it could be so I know what to look for when I get under the car?

I would check your endlinks, I had this same thing and I took it into the dealer and the endlinks were just slightly loose.

Thanks for the info I'll check it out soon and post an update if that fixed the problem. I'm hoping that's all it is cause I don't wana have to replace another piece of suspension.

end links back ball joint. worn out lower control arm bushing. just check if anything is loose, worn or damaged in the front suspension

It sounds like sway bar end links and you'll never be able to tell they are loose just by looking at them or wiggling them.

The low speed clunk is pretty much a dead giveaway. It's about $34.00 plus shipping for a set of end links and nuts.

hmmm.... I just got some new Sways too ... Oh well, I guess I am gonna pay someone to go under again. :dunno:

Is that a common thing to happen to most lowered cars? Because I have heard that "knock" sound from the suspension on a Z, a GTI, and a Civic. All Lowered. :what:

It's the design of the end link, nothing to do with being lowered. It's common on all Foci regardless of ride height.

My dad has a 93 mustang gt and the end links went out on it after a year of having it once he changed them never had a problem again. Is there an upgrade for the endlinks or is the stock my only solution?

weird.... i had that problem too and I swear I went under the car like 10 times looking for the clunking noise but mine turned out to be one of my motor mounts..

you dont have to replce both at the same time. you just need a press to do the bearing. it may be a little difficult to seperate the shaft from the spindle but you shouldnt have to replace both unless you screwed it up or they are both bad.

So I was able to attack the problem today. It ended up being that the bolt at the top of the strut was way loose. Tightened the sucker up and presto no noise. Does anyone know what the tourqe setting is supposed to be on those bolts cause I can't find a service manual that has enough svt stuff in it to consider buying?

I just purchased my 2003 SVT tonight and part of my negotiation for the price I got was because this car is popping too. I purchased the extended warranty so this will be covered.
