Are the front seats on our cars interchangeable with one another? I was thinking that my driver's seat has 90,000 miles of my backside on it, but the passenger's seat only has about maybe 5,000 miles on it. Are the seats interchangeable? The only thing that I can reason about why they wouldn't be is the adjustable lower seat surface that is on the driver's side. Other than that, can I do it?

the seat bealt buckles would be on the wrong side

You can remove the bottom parts and swap it. There are 4 bolts on the bottom that hold them in.

Ahhh...so it is doable...nice. Thanks, fellas.

By the way, 800 posts! What what!?

didnt know that you could remove the bottoms....

Yeah I believe to remove the seats its a t45, t47, or t50...pretty large. Haven't removed the slider assembly from the seat.

You may have to take out the seats to get to them, unless you're very flexible :) I believe it's a torx screw, a large one at that. You may need to get a special bit for it.
yeah and a big fat breaker bar

Trust me. I got the breaker bar. My friggin' tool kit used to do lots of heavy maintenance on Chinook helicopters. If needed, I can step down from a 3/4" drive breaker bar all the way to using the torx bits. Can't imagine it needing that much torque, but I'm prepared for the worst case.
