Stock 15k mile tires?

So I had a surprise this past week. The Mazda3 I have apparently had 15k mile tires on my car. Back tires didn't have much tread on them at all.

Joe, does your Speed3 have similar Toyo tires?

No, i have bridgstone potenzas but I don't think they are gonna last much more than 15k anyways. I would recomend general exclaim uhp tires but they are summer only. They are a near perfect balance of performance and wear for a daily driver.

What size does the Speed3, and the Mazda3 have as far as stock tire size, and wheels go?

I have the 205/50/16's on my SES hatch, and I replaced the factory junk Pirelli's with the Bridgestone G009's. They're an all-season tire, and they have better grip, handling, etc. over the Pirelli's. They even have a 50k tread warranty.

I think ed's car probably has a 215/50/17 and the Speed has a 215/45/18

Hmmmm..... I wasn't quite sure what size his car had, and I thought the Speed had 18's, but wasn't positive.

Have you checked Tire Rack, and looked at the comparison charts?

My car actually has 205/55/16, there is a factory option to get 17s which I didn't get.

I see. You're is a step up from mine then theoretically, due to my Focus having the 205/50/16's. Have you checked into the Bridgestone G009's?
