I recently lowered my 2001 zx3. I put the Eibach Pro-System shocks with the sportline springs. It sits perfectly in my opinion but now my tires scrape the fenders when there are any people other than just me in my car. I have 215 45 17's on the car and they seem to be just a little to big. I cant really go to a 40 series because Jersey roads are horrible. I have heard about fender rolling but I cant find any places in Jersey that do it (most shops haven't even heard of it). Also I'm not sure that this will eliminate it completely. I've seen other Foci lower than my car and I know they don't just drive around with their fenders scraping. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What's the offset of your wheels? You can slightly roll your fenders with your fingers. Fold the inner lip up and pull out a bit, but don't use gorilla strength and try to pull the quarter panel off the car

EDIT: Beat by a few seconds

Hmmm...I wouldn't think +45 would rub.

Anyhow, I would recommend bending the inner lip of your fenders as much as you can with your fingers. If you are careful, you can cover the paint on your fenders with a rag and use a set of pliers to pinch it a bit, but don't completely pinch it as your paint could crack at the bend. You really only need to do it where it is rubbing currently, maybe another inch or so on either side. That should fix your issue.

I would try bending the tabs in. You shouldnt have much rubbing issue with that offset...but I would double check on the wheels you are running just to be safe.

im having the same problem... sportline springs... pro dampers... 45 offset... and my right rear rubs... even after rolling the inner fender lip... (which solved the left rear rubbing, but not the right....) every time i hit a dip or take a turn at speed, the tire will rub
