Not quite sure what you mean by "Original" but... I got my first ZX3 in Jan 2000 and was part of the original Club Focus in December 1999.

I followed that up with a 2001 ZTS, then a 2001 ZX3 S2, 2003 ZTW, 2004 SE, and finally a 2006 ZX5 GFX.

I had a 00' ZTS. All loaded up leather and what not.

But then trany went at 32K and every interiour piece just started falling apart at 40K miles. I also had the tublers in the ignition switch go. Ended up having to have it towed 30 miles from were I was to a dealership. Then they wouldn't waranty it becouse it wasn't apart of the "ignition switch"? I still can't figure that one out. So I dumped it for a new 03' Ranger.

Now I have the ST

In November of 2001, after my first deployment I bought a 01 Power/Premium ZX-3, had the car until 2004 when my brother took over payments from me so I could get my SVTF. Sadly my brother no longer owns the ZX-3 his bitch of a wife made him sell it and get a mini-van:mad: .

ZX-3.
After I installed the Mach HID's right after they came out.

I love my SVTF and I plan on driving her until her engine explodes.

My Wife has her early 2000 (manufactured late 99) That is all stock except for changing the wheels to `02 16in five spokes and a K&N standard filter. It is an SE Sedan in Rainforest Green with tan interior.

She got it with all power, spoiler, tach, the delay wipers (the nice ones with multiple settings) Her cigarette lighter has the light ring (wish my `02 premium hatch did)

With the exception of an ignition tumbler being replaced twice and a wheel bearing under warranty and two different window motors, no problems and she drives it like she is doing timed events for SCCA.

People think it is a much newer model.

^^^ Did you get that air pump from Harbor Freight?

I got one a few months ago. LOVE IT!

Nice pics!

The playskool one made me LOL
Autozone I think. It was a good pump until I shattered the plug.

I bought my Street Edition new in March 2001. It now has 48K miles on it. The DPFE was replaced once and the ECU was replaced when the dearship fried it while doing the battery cable recall.

Otherwise the only problems I have has have been "owner created" and they were few in number. Like Omni, many things have been replaced but not because they were broken.

Okay, I tried not to post but couldn't help it. I did not buy my car new, but very close. I purchased my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 used from Lodi Honda w/7400 miles in April 2004. Other than a scratch on the hood and the odo reading, I couldn't see that it wasn't brand new. It is coming up on 85k miles. I took it to the dealer for a 3rd gear synchro and to have the driver side window placed back in the tracks. Other than that, headlight bulbs and regular maintenance. Here are a few pics

If I would have kept my first no power anything ZX3 I would have you beat. I bought it like Sept 15 or 18, something like that. Bought it because I was pissed off about an Excursion I had ordered that came in 6 months late and when it came in the lease rate jumped by almost 3% and the payment would have been over $900/month on it.

I worked at the dealership, went out and beat on a Focus for about 15 minutes and drove it home that night. Thus it all started there.

I bought mine in Oct 2001 from Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC. Here is a pic when it was 1 year old at a rallyx in VA.

I put 80k on it as a daily driver and then a hail storm helped turn it into a rally car. And here is what is looks like today after a little smooch with a tree stump.

I picked up my 2003 SVT in April of 2004, 2 months before my 16th birthday (I would drive it around the block every day after school before my parents got home). It was still new however, with only 17 miles on it. It now has around 45k miles on it. I had to have one of the heated seat switches replaced becuase it was sticking, but other than that, it has had no problems, only regular maintnence and a few bolt-on's.
