all we can hope for is that in a few years, we can at least make replicas by taking the Mk2 Focus and kitting it up, swapping the engine in, etc.

I see you drive a Mustang, and nothing personal, but I'm positive that US Ford won't bring over a RS since it would kick the crap out the Mustang. What kind of company would the American Culture think Ford is when a cheaper hatchback compact that gets better gas milage would be faster and handle better then their American Legend Mustang?

relax there it has 50hp(estimated) more not like 1000.:lol: of course a lighter smaller car would be a car thats heavier with the same power.

i personally dont think people would stop buying mustangs tho. plus by the time the new focus comes here ford has other engine option plans for the mustang. so you never know.

let's be honest hear. someone who want's a V8 rear wheel drive car will never buy a focus, no matter how much faster or better handling it may be. no one would cross shop a mustang with a focus regardless of power

No, but Ford has a image they like to uphold with thier Mustang. Same as Chevy with their precious Corvette.
