Just have your tuner disable air injection.

I am def thinking of trying it. I just saw it on ebay and first ran here to see what was said but for the price and its SS oh yea.

My olny prob is the 2 sensors that will be pluged into nothing. Any one elses thoughts on this?

And then im guessing tie them up out of the way.

well i guess ill be the first to try it? i am buying the header right now. ill let yall know what i think about it

Pls do some crap came up and i cant buy it this week so id really like to know how much louder your car got and the power gain. (butt dyno)

well its been ordered. hopefully it wont take too long to get here. ill post a video when i get it installed

You wouldn't use the sensors. You would have to unplug them, and get a tune to turn them off.
You'd use the top O2 sensor closest to the head...I believe it's the grey one and unplug the other two and store them. You'll throw a CEL until you get around to a tune. I've got the Cossie header with a single O2 bung on the collector on my PZEV 2.0L 2007 ZX3. Without a sensor how will the "brain" know if you're running rich or lean and be able to adjust?

Recently got a 91 octane tune from Randy which got rid of three CEL's and now it feels like I'm running a 2.3L. The grin factor is now way up! F2 CAI, Cossie throttle body and header, Borla 2.5 exhaust, totally reworked suspension mostly sourced from Ricardo, and SVT brake upgrade, etc., and much more to come.

Here is a question, Cant you take the header to a shop and have them drill and weld a bolt to it for the other sensor so the brain can read the fuel mixture?

Yep. I meant you wouldn't use the other 2 sensors. Only the main sensor. :)

On a side note......Sensor is funny word if you say it over, and over.

Do you still get some decent power from the header without the tune or is it best to wait till you can get both?

you should still get decent power with the header having no tune. ill tell you friday ;)

I noticed quite a difference in top end hp, but my low end tq went bye-bye. Still though I think a header is worth it, the added top end power and the sound are really cool. And from what I've read, with a tune you should be able to regain some of that low end tq, and get even more power out of the header. I'm getting a tune just a soon as my cat-back system gets here. Just remember, a header replaces the cat on our cars, and it won't pass inspection with a missing cat, of course it's not too hard to switch it for inspection.:)

lucky for me there is no inspection here in florida.

my header should be here tomorrow and i ordered an xcal 2 from focus sport. hopefully ill get that by friday and have it all on. if not it will be tuned by monday.

Damn, Both is the way to go I am envious.

im also going to the track and hopefully i can be in the 14's. we have such a ****ty track its hard to get good runs.
