here are some pics of my car, my wifes car and my moms car from when i was home for my 2 weeks of leave. me and my wife went up the the hanging rock meet and then the others are from when we put our cars in a car show the morning that i left to come back out to afghanistan, i didnt get to stay but they watched my car for me. all comments welcome. thanks jimmy

well after i had my stock wheels off and sitting there she got some crazy idea to paint them red and put them on her car, so i told her that she could do whatever she wanted to it cause it is her car. and that car, well i am not to sure but i wouldnt mind getting some of the parts off of it, ;)

So your wife bought the turbo ATX car from NJ? That was an awesome deal for sure :) And I love your RBs :hump:

I like the Jimmy on the back of the car, but my being a narcissist along with having the name Jimmy as well, this only makes since.

Well, they were working. Forgot FJ doesn't like other people posting pictures in someone elses (ie. yours) Rigz thread. It is easy to post pics especially with photobucket. Just copy and past the "IMG code". It will have a
Image
at the end. That same procedure works with posting any pictures.

I get first dibs if Beth ever wants to get rid of her wing :D I'll even meet up with you half way. I'm not 100% on it since you already know that I have 2 wings already, but I'm not sure which ones I want to keep if any of them and I still really like the look of hers.

So what's the future hold for both cars? I think Beth's focus is crying for some smoked projectors.

yeah she wants to get some, but finding them is a little hard. for mine i am getting a euro rear and going to build an engine and go turbo. i have a xenon front that is waiting paint but i have been thinking of going with something else. as for beths i really dont know, its really up to her with what happens to it, i feel that she should make it hers and do what she likes. i am going to get the lower lights on her rear bumper working though just so that there is some extra light while backing at night and during the day maybe so that someone might notice the 4 lights instead of just two of them.

Sounds good man. I was kind of hoping you wouldn't use the Xenon front bumper because I'm not a big fan of it. Personally I think the Cervinis and F2 front bumpers are the best US ones. Or you can fork out the cash and get a nice Euro one (RS collection or ST170). That's cool that your letting Beth make it her own. I wasn't dogging that she wanted red wheels. It doesn't look bad, but I just prefered the silver ASAs. At least she didn't want them painted pink with butterflies...haha.

funny thing that you said that bout her wheels, she did jokingly (thankfully) say something bout putting butterflies or hearts on them. i liked the ASAs also but i sorta like what she did with it, keeping a solid theme with the red and black at least. i was thinking of a nice euro front just to keep it clean but wasnt sure what would look good. as for the RS i am going to wait till i am almost done with the car, probably in a few years and get the RS widebody kit for it. i just like the way it looks with that kit. i am going to look into the Cervins and F2 now that you mentioned them.

It's pretty much just us posting in your thread...haha. Anyway, I thought you might want to check out the performance classifieds because there is a guy in NC selling a motor with 66K miles on it. Be a good place to start to build up an engine without having your car down (not driveable). You need to get Beth to post more...haha.

yeah i seen that engine but the good news is that i already got one, for the great price of FREE :) i think that he said it had just over 100k on it before it spun a bearing, the kid didnt change the oil or any thing. so me and my dad are going to take it completely apart, and rebuild it with some good parts. probably sell the almost full focus that is in my dads garage rafters that i have gotten from changing parts on mine to help fund it. i am thinking, if done right and with a bunch of hope i will be pushing around 300 or so by the time i am done. so then ill have the GO to go with the SHOW.

Looks like you fixed the intake on yours, Jimmy. When I saw it at Hanging Rock, it looked like it was sagging in the middle. It looks much better now. The red wheels on Beth's car are very striking. The first time I looked at them, I thought "what the?..", but after viewing them a couple of times they're staring to grow on me.

By the way, DeEtta was looking at the pictures with me and when she saw the red wheels, she said "definitely a girl's car". When I asked her why, she said the red on the wheels was like nail polish to the black paint on the car.

well that is a good way of looking at it. i was the same way about the wheels, from seeing them black then red was quite a change. but she went out and sanded them and washed them. then with the help of my brother painted them, me and him added the little black lines to go with the car and so that they werent so plain.

I noticed the black lines on the wheels and thought that was a nice touch to bring them into the black/red theme. Pretty cool that she seems really into working on her Focus.
