Monthly g2g ideas?

We should probably try to keep a monthly g2g thread for each major grouping of cities here in Lonestar to help the community grow and what not.

What do you guys think?

I know small g2gs go on fairly often...but I am talking about something that anyone that is new will be able to come out to and be able to meet a fellow focus enthusiast.

I figure:
SA/ATX
DFW
Houston

Lemme know what you guys think.

You will see this pop up in most regional forums as we are trying to set this up across the board.

Well, we just had a very large g2g, and every Monday we have from 10-15 Foci show up.

Perhaps there should be a monthly dinner night for all the areas.

All the areas have a local G2G dinner and then once a year, the state gets together to have an annual dinner and meet.

Hey Gabe,

Some of us here in Houston have been talking about a get2gether. I have some of the guys numbers
... But I think that the idea of a Dinner is good one ...

I remember when Houston use to have the frequent Chachos gatherings. I didn't get to attend a whole lot of them but I heard some crazy stories..lol

How about Austin? Austin is pretty close to all of those locations you listed.

We just got done doing Austin ... that's all I am saying ...

We need to start first in each city a small gathering to see who is all interested.

We have Chachos here, but they are so damn packed 24/7....it seems like anyway.

If I gotta work that hard for food, I'll just go kill it myself... :lol:

... Well ... ^^ we need to stop a certain miscommunication between certain "People" that I know I can not bring up ... or have the right to bring up.

I am just saying.

Plus there are some in the works ... but ...

conflicts man ... just plain silly conflicts ...

but this is not an area to talk about it.

There are a few of us talking about getting together this weekend on 45 past pasadena ... so if any one is interested. ... We can then talk about a monthly g2g here in houston. Because another major one is also in the works.

I will ask one of the guys who is putting this one together. He gave me directions ... but I will have to find it again. As for the day and time ... They are aiming for 5-6 this Sunday.

You should see the pics from the last "big meet" ...

I'll keep you posted on the meets ...
