What year is your car? I'll just give you fair warning that pulling the dash out is a HUGE job.

i have a 2003 sedan. yeah my car is in the rebuild process after the accident and i just figured while its out of commission ill do something fun.

but if you guys have easier ways to paint the entire dash lmk please.

I painted my dash and left the majority of it installed in the car. I spent a couple days removing what seemed like hundreds of bolts from every possible panel before giving up on pulling the entire dash out of the car  I did the entire top portion of my dash and just spent about an hour or two taping off EVERYTHING very very well before I even started painting. Afterwards I let everything cure outside with the windows down for the rest of the day before even attempting to put anything back together or drive the car. I need to redo it again in the spring (I'm a perfectionist and there's an area about 2" wide that bugs me because it's not perfect) but overall it turned out great

that sounds a thousand time easier i think ill do that. thanks man. yeah i go ocd about everything in my car i bought a pledge duster so nothing sits on my car. lol.

btw your dash looks very nice. what paint did you use to paint it all?

Believe it or not I used the 96 cent flat black spray paint from Wal-Mart. The stuff is incredibly durable (I painted my other car with it actually ) and has impressed me with everything I've used it on, so I decided to use it for my interior as well. I painted the dash, the vent rings, the radio bezel, and the A-, B-, and C-pillars with it and everything has held up great and looks professional too
