So, I had my hatch re-cleared (badges were cleared over when I went to debadge). They decided to "clean up" the rear and cover up some spots that needed to be touched up, and the finished product was a yellow that is slightly different then the rest of the car. From what I understand, yellow is a pretty difficult color to match 100%, and the new paint is now SLIGHTLY darker then the original color (only on the hatch). I have a couple of options here.
Options:
1) Have them fade the paint "in" to make it less noticeable and call it a day.
2) Paint the hatch, hood, center of hood, wing, and small part on front bumper black (see pics below for idea)
3) Have them fade the paint to get by for now, and then next winter send the car to be painted a completely different color.
COST:
1) Will cost me nothing
2) $200-$300
3) Nothing initially, but probably $1000+ in the winter?
Please note, I am not a photoshop master. Also, I am looking for honest opinions/helpful insight...if you want to be rude, please bite your tounge.
