^^Ya, I think I'm gonna save the money for a re-tune...put down 270-280 instead ; )

A new paint color/scheme would be sweet, but I have always lived by the "if it ain't broke, dont fix it" motto, and I'd honestly rather spend the money on performance then appearance. I think we can get the paint to look just fine with a little extra work, and in doing that it will save me money in either of the other two options.

Well, I am 31 and I am rocking the CF hood, CF wing, black wheel look just 15 minutes from you. I have thought about it looking too tuner for me, but whatever it looks too damn good to give it up.

Black/yellow is always a good combo, if I were you I would consider a Satin (Not flat) black hood, and Satin black center section of the wing. I think that would rock. You know that satin black hood look on mopars, I just love that.

Also, if you do not have posters of your car, I still have a ton of them. LMK if you have them already.

Haha, I have 150+ sitting in my garage with stickers and and pamphlets too. Man is that model ugly on the poster...

Thanks for the offer tho, I really appreciate it.

^^^^ Gerald has some of everything... his storage unit must be bigger than my house wtf.

I say keep it all yellow for now Andy
haha, thats great.

I'm thinking I'm going to just stick to yellow for now as well.

Too be honest with you I love what you have done with the car since you bought it. I love the history of the car, and keeping that body kit makes it live on. Maybe it's time to make a new poster with a better looking model??? I am not a fan of the Mach lip, but it does not look bad by any means.

I am a super fan of yellow and black, I would love to see your car with a full Satin black hood, Satin black center section of the wing(outer parts yellow), and Satin black wheels. Gimme some red lug nuts to accent that Powerworks decal, and I thing that would be just delicious as Drew would say. I have a a mint set of red SVT door panels too if your interested. When I get mine going I would love to g2g for a Yellow Jacket attack, lol.

My opinion...keep it yellow...wanna try something different wrap the Lip in yellow vinyl.....trust me...it would look even HOTTER...I wrapped mine to color match........it changes the look alot!!

Maybe a Euro grill & Euro tail's :)

History or not, I would still ditch the bodykit.
The history aspect is cool, but that's not the only reason I've kept the body kit. Truthfully, I'd rather be original with a quality body kit then buy stock STV stuff that everyone has (not to mention its not a SVT), or the F2 replica bumper that you have to fight with to make it fit correctly. Honsetly, everyone else already has that stuff, so why do the same thing? I have yet to see another focus with the full kit. I've seen a few people with the skirts, one person with the front bumper, and no one with the rear bumper.

But yet you are looking at the most played paint scheme out there. Good luck with whichever path you choose.

I was looking for a fix to my color mismatch issue (which was the whole reason for the thought). I thought about possible color options and this one presented itself and seemed decent. Honestly, I haven't seen anyone with a yellow Focus with the hood, roof, wing, and hatch painted black (esp the hatch). I have a vanitey plate that says, "Stingr", with a MSU "S" at the beginning, so the paint scheme seemed appropriate for the car.

Yellow and black is so 2001 :p

I say paint the car something completely different, if your friend is up to it, and his skills are worthy. Pearl white has been done already - why not a UK-spec color? or if you want to keep the yellow, then a HOK pearl? I've always thought a Fofo in that nice red-pearl the Mazda 3s come in would be perty.

Hahaha, ya, like I said, I was skeptical, and almost didn't post because I had an idea how people would respond based on my own feelings about it, but, I figured why not.

It would be pretty cool to paint it a UK color...maybe the new green color from the RS?

I've pretty much decided on keeping it all yellow for now...
