Is this a dedicated race car?

If so go for it, if not there are plenty of places to drop weight for free without the $500 price tag of those windows. that would be the last thing to replace on an all out race car IMO

You would be better off putting skinnys on the back and dropping 10ish pounds of rotating weight. Rotational weight is 7-10 times more parasitic than stagnant weight on the vehicle. for example 10 lbs saved on the wheels or tires is like taking 100 lbs off the body.

This is not a dedicated race car. I will be driving it daily. I have 15" Rota slipstreams up front which are pretty light but I didn't think about the rear. So what can I do for FREE to reduce weight?

start taking stuff out of the car, anything not needed

I would venture to say the spare tire and jack would save you more than those windows

he is in the Bahamas, i dont think DOT applies there.

and I doubt you would fail an inspection for having these on your car, even if the inspector had any clue what they were.

i was gona say eliminating AC but it does get hot there you can alwasys take out spare tire and jack like he mentioned above and the rear seat puls out ez for race days
