Thanks a ton, Steve, for all the help you have given me getting my new (old) SVTF back to good, I truly appreciate your help and expertise.

I'm sure I'll be in touch as I bet most will.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Steve's a hell of a nice guy. Most of you have talked to him on the phone, but a few of us have been lucky enough to meet Steve in person.

No one wants to see Steve leave Tousley, but times change and people move on for their own reasons. I had the opportunity to congratulate Steve in person. This move seems genuinely perfect and like the rest of us, I hope he does well.

Congratulations once again sir. There are but a few as good. I truely mean that.

That's what I told Steve on Thursday. I could get the right parts from Steve faster and cheaper than I could get them from any of my local dealers. You obviously know the system, so its cool to hear that you're going to get a chance to work on it.:thumbup:

Well good luck on the new gig! I just thought of 2 things I need to get going from you so its a good thing you will be still hanging around...I dont think anybody knows parts like you do!!!!

Congratulations Steve. I hope everything pans out at the new job. Sounds to me like you got a really decent one. Hell, sittin' at home on the internet, still browsing FJ and still helping other FJ members.:thumbup::party:

Thanks for all the great deals you've provided us over the last several years. You've saved my ass on multiple occasions. Congrats on the new job and best of luck with it. Can we still use Kevin or Mike M. as a resource to get the discounts directly through Tousley or is that system exclusive to you? Just curious, thanks.

I've been on vacation and only near a computer on rare occasions for the last 2 weeks... what a nasty surprise. This feels like a family member just told me they were moving to Afghanistan.

But I'm glad it's going to be something good for you that you're going to like doing. Congratulations! :rock:

And thanks, Steve, for all the help with deciding what parts I was really looking for... especially the transmission parts. You'll be missed.

Congrats steve!

Sounds like you made the right choice. I know for me leaving a place were you are comfortable and settled. Is like walking off a ledge with a blindfold on. Its a risk and you don't know if you'll catch your self on the way down or fall forever. For me it was moving from Cat to Cummins. After the initial shock and realizing that it was the right move everythings great. But Four weeks vacation, dang where do I sign up?

Congrats. Its not often in this economy you hear of people finding jobs. Normally we're loosin 'em. So to hear you got a promotion is encouraging.

Although...i did call up yesterday and while it was ringing i was thinkin, "man i don't know what i'd do if Steve ever left Tousley." I fixed my timing issue after your advice so i was callin to thank you and to order a couple little things. Well, Pat answered and i asked for you and he said, "Steve no longer works here. They made him an offer he couldn't refuse." my response was, "oh ****. Now what? Guess i'm sellin the SVT."

Then Pat informed me of the changes and the standing price breaks.

Well, good luck man. I wish you the best. Thanks for all your help over the last year or so.
