Only above the emblem. There is a drip hole, but it doesn't take much. I just raise the hatch a few inches and sweep it off to the side or blast it with a hose. And there is a big pine tree near my driveway. I've thought of sealing the seam with some clear silicone. Maybe some day.

You should put a Euro Rear bumper on it, when I get a hatch back thats the first thing I'm doing is getting rid of the park bench rear bumper.

With my luck if i had a 3 piece mid-wing one of the sides would fall off going down the road...lol When i was younger i didn't think of long term effects like if this happens can i buy just that one piece or would i have to get the whole thing...??

I watched that happen to a Nissan Maxima body kit.

Ew, please don't......

I've seen that wing on a car or two over the years, and it is not at all flattering. Plus do you really want to drill your hatch for that and possibly regret it and have to keep it because your hatch has holes in it?
If anyone ever does that and doesn't want to patch their hatch they can buy a Carbon Fiber hatch for it.

I'm trying hard to respond nicely, and this is all I came up with.

imo that wing sticks out like a sore thumb and cheapens the look of the car... not trying to be a jerk, just giving my honest opinion. there are lots of other aggressive looking spoilers available for the car that flow much better and also augment the overall look of the car, i don't know why a midwing is even in question here :dunno:.

on the other hand, you seem pretty intent on getting it, so maybe you should just get it if you really like it. but i would say that if you're worrying right now that you might regret it later, there's a really good chance that you will regret it later, and it's not a subtle change....

Well i'm still up in the air on a mid-wing....So i ordered new dampners from Steve & end links for the front sway bar along with new poly bushing for both. So now next will either be a Tune or the wing.....
