holy crap! I clicked thinking nine pages of wire tuck idk if I really want to read all this. I am stunned. In no way, shape or form do I have the know-how to spend that much time/effort and be able to put my car back together. Awesome job so far.

Just read this all, and decided I am never attempting to do this
awesome job  :)

Update:

So i've been driving this car for a month now, as my daily. Haven't ran into any problems yet except for my
-catch can hose coming off while driving
-starter struggles sometime. Its probably corrosion buildup on my temp power distribution block. I already ordered a new one, just need to put it in.
-wastegate bolt snapping (going to drill out the flange and replace it)

I tore the car apart for the weekend to do a few updates, clean up a few of the wires I took short cuts on when I did it the first time.

Here is how it sits right now, after a day of taking parts off.

2 days and finished with my update

-Removed turbo manifold, and replaced the wastegate flange.
-Installed new wastegate, synapse synchronic 40mm
-Moved a bunch of wiring in front of the engine
-Repainted radiator support
-Remove catch can
-Install turbo water lines
-Upgrade power distribution block (from alt, starter, to battery)

Thanks for comments, glad to see people still stop by when it gets bumped up.

Happy with outcome but still not satisfied. Its come a long way from the start, engine, exterior, interior.

Still have ideas floating around that i need to get out.

As for the engine I have tons of space to work on it now. So next step is to start cleaning up the hoses. Probably try to find pre-bent hoses to give it a cleaner oem look.

BTW the thule bike rack is a new addition to the car.
Bought most parts used
here's the list if anyone is curious on what you need for the base rack.

Thule:
400xt aero foot
LB50 load bar
477 short roof adapter
2063 focus fit kit
(this ran me $170 used)

Then i purchased the front wind deflector ($70 new)
2 fork mount bike trays ($100 used)
8pc lock set ($56 ebay)

There was a big storm today, Ran into a big puddle on the freeway and my car didn't take it too well. So i had a SVT bumper that needed some work, but since i'm in urgent need of a new bumper i wont be able to prep it like i wanted to.

The bumper flew off and was ran over by another car.

BOO thread jacker!! :) JK

very nice to see more people willing to attempt this. Did you extend any wires? Or just undo the factory looms and retape it better?

I used the harness from my new motor. (07) so it was somewhat streamlined from my 05built/06 model. Extended the harness/plug from the Alternator, which that main harness carries the spark plugs and ICV./2 grounds.

I redid the common ground and injectors but pretty much left the 16 pin harness wires alone.

Bumper painted on installed, pretty good for a spray can job. In addition I took advantage of the SVT fog light holes and routed my intake straight into the fog light.

After, all it needed was a 90degree bend
