Kevin...you guys need the auto dimming shield....I noticed in all the photos that while you were welding you were holding the shield with one hand. Also look like a session with a sandblaster is needed for the old parts. Then Jessie can hit with with epoxy paint.

Murrays/Orielys sells the VHT epoxy paint which works great. I have had it on my lower tie bar..well did before i wrecked the car and it held up for 2 years till then without any rust or anything comming through, and i painted it over rust.

I made one of these using the same type of barel. and yes..those are spinners lol

I really don't think they need one. It looks like these guys just have a stick welder for odd-jobs around the house and general shenanigans like the OMGWTFJDMBBQ. No need to drop $200 on a helmet they'll barely use.

How much is this beast going to weigh?

you should do some built in bottle jacks when its time to park er for cookin. Just weld them to the bottom at each corner and weld yourself a little tube for the handle. When you park you just bust out the handle and get each corner and there ya go sturdy and even. if you do that though weld a 6x6 plate on the bottom of the jacks so when you put them down its has a bigger surface area to ground for stability. Just a thought.

Bottle openers for sure, gotta find them, good ones.

Beer holders, I'll have to work on that, my hand usually works pretty good. I am going to hit Danny up for some led strips eventually and mount a battery to the trailer. hehe.

should be just around 700lbs MAX.

I will know for sure when i go to get it plated.

I hope for your sake its less, My tire trailer fully loaded weighs around 500 I think and it makes the car quite sluggish and the car takes a while to stop.

More work has been done.

Got the shelfs mounted, hinged, supported, and able to tie them down once wood is on them.

Got the rear ramps welded up tonight. Cleaned up some welds, bought a auto dimming helmet (why i didn't have one a long time ago, I have no idea!!!) Hopefully I will take pictures tomorrow. Been working with my buddy on this, so neither of us have been taking pictures. It's mostly been little things we've been working on, so nothing picture worthy quite yet.
