I think we're over 15 people building with OEM RS panels now. Sadly, most have either not found their way to this thread, or are not posting :(

Personally, I'd love to see more "build" threads linked here for us all to monitor and oogle!

I gone through 2 wives, one for 13years and 7years,,no more,,I keep what I like and throw back the bad, just wish I'd don't it sooner. MY projects last longer, been with my SpitFord for 23years (was my MISTRESS in the first marriage and the XR4Ti in the second.:arr:The G/F hasnt cault own yet. I'll start posting more once I start building. My car fund has taken a huge hit at the moment as I book my winter holiday to the French Alps but still should be able to get things going after the ski season has ended.

I'm gonna start one once I decide if I'm using my 04 SVT S/C or another zx3. I've been pondering this for couple wks. Why use a perfectly good SVT just to remove every thing that make it an SVT, looking at a white 02 5spd, I've got another SVT engine, could get another 6spd, considering a custom interior to match some nice Sparco seats from this side of the pond and still patronize the Ford/RS concept. Guy at work asked today if I would sell the SVT,,,Thinking again,damn

No worries English, but keep us posted! We can't stare at pictures of your car-less garage with piles of RS parts forever ;)

Certainly no rush on decisions like those. But Im sure as the parts begin to block your view of the car, you'll finally decide they're all good canvas for an RS masterpiece.

I phone comes in handy to stay. In touch, i have been at hospital round the clock for a week now, you guys lift my spirits back up. Im loseing my best friend from cub scouts a road race nut. :( :(

Wow, did LCR still have them in stock? Take some pics of all the parts assembled, I'm glad you decided to rock out the RS panels! I'll add you to the official list, welcome to the party ;)

well if you got them from HTP then im ****ed cause thats where i was going to getmine from.

but im royally F'ed now.

my car is looking ulgy as hell right now too after taking the Mid wing off and the horrible bondo work done by the pervious owner.
fml.

I've read COUNTLESS "airbag light" posts now... many on other car sites too (like BMW forums and sites for the 350Z).

There's certainly some disagreements about whether or not the airbag light means, "the entire system is disabled". Someone on these forums stated their front airbags deployed in a crash with a deer even though their airbag light was flashing (and that it was flashing because they had installed racing seats that did not have side airbags).

Those with swapped seats, any idea what the status of the airbag system is when the light is flashing? It's one of the last things I have to fix to complete the RS interior install (since the new seats are devoid of side airbags, the cluster seems to notice and blink airbag warnings at me). If the rest of the system is operational (that is, minus the side airbags which no longer exist), I'm happy to block the light and move on, but if the ENTIRE system is shutdown, I'll have to develop a solution to feel comfortable with anyone riding along in my car with me. It's one thing to risk my own safety, but I'm not about to risk an innocent passenger not having a front airbag.

Does it mention anything about flashing? It's not on all the time at first, so I assume it's a diag code? 5 times then 2, repeats several times then airbag light just stays on. I will consult my owners manual as well for the SVTF, cheeRS!
