havent tried them. but they look good. i might put some 225/50/16s on my stock wheels.. it says for that size that 7-9" wheels are recommended, but on tirerack for other racing tires that 6-8" is recommended. would it work on 16x6" wheels you think?

It probably might work but I would suggest just getting 2 lightweight wheels like maybe the Rota Slipstreams. I have put 22x8x15 slicks on the stock wheels before but it wasn't ideal and the tires really bulged out on the sides.

i dont have $300 for a couple rotas :/

i do however have 2 of my stock wheels left (lost 2 from an accident)

225/50-15's fit on stock 10-spoke focus wheels. I have a set (for sale actually, lol).

22x8x15 slicks also fit on stock 10-spoke focus wheels, I had a set I sold with my Powerworks car.

as long as you are not trying to carve corners or drive in the rain
got a time yet?

Was getting ready to run it at the track Sunday gone but the front ball joint popped out of the knuckle and ruined my plans. Glad it happend when I was slowly reversing out of a parking lot. The plan is to upgrade to poly bushings and moog ball joints so hopefully that will aid in my 60' times.

whoa what? Counterfiend here in Dallas has been dealing with that problem for months. I hope that's not a new found issue.

Nah, I doubt it. I found out that the bolt I used was a bit smaller than the OEM bolt. I hit a bump hard last week and actually bent my shock. That probably contributed to the failure along with the undersized bolt.

Oh sorry, I thought I posted it up. I did a 8.595 in the 1/8th mile but I only got as low as 2.095 in the 60' time. With more practice and more boost I'm sure I could get in the low 8's.
