Just purchased my first Focus. I snapped up one of only 50 2010 Focus RS Mk2's that Ford de Mexico imported from Germany. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

One of the few legal methods for doing so.I work and live for extended periods of time in Mexico, so I have a Mexican FM3 Visa, which allows you to purchase and register cars in Mexico for personal use with Mexican tags. Cars with both Mexican and US tags can be driven on both sides of the border as long as they have insurance. I have no intention of circumventing the US customs, DOT, or EPA regulations and risking the same fate as the Skyline owners. Thanks for the well wishes.
I'll ask my friend who's had his Mexican registered Valiant in the Cali for over 20 years and daily drives it.I would like to know the status of the car while it is in the US and how long before it is discovered by the EPA and DOT, this is not ajoke. I wish you well with this car but be very careful what you let out on the internet about it.
I just want to know what you do for a living so I can work back home and earn US dollars.Ha ha, I'll keep an eye out for other Focus hoons!
Is the valiant getting blasted all over the internet for the past 20 years?I'll ask my friend who's had his Mexican registered Valiant in the Cali for over 20 years and daily drives it.
Having seen and sat in both cars, the interior of the Mk2 is worlds beyond the Mk1 FRS. Pictures of the Mk2's exterior don't do it any justice either; I didn't like it myself until I saw it in person. The only thing I'd still change is that rear spoiler.and is it me for MK1 RS> MK2 RS (aesthetically)
or maybe im bias haha
Welcome to FJ! You are certainly a welcome addition here.
