New issue of C&D has me hungry for the future.

I still think the FT-86 from Toyota will be my next car, unless it comes in at 3200 lbs.

But the Hyundai Veloster with a 1.6T engine with 150 hp sounds fun too.

More money, style and hp is the Alfa Giulietta. 1.8T with 235 hp is funner.

Even the Chevy Aveo RS looks cool. Plus the cars Ford has coming out. I just hope some of these cars live up the hype.

GTI = Too heavy and soft. Maybe all of these others will be too. I'm still hopeful.

Just get a Hyundai Genesis Coupe and call it day.

They look very similar IMO.
i actually was going to get one before i got my GC8 but i didnt like the power to weight ratio and the tranny had a lot of issues with it...plus it was a first year production car and hyundai's first attempt at a sports car

Havn't had any tranny problems with my wife's Genesis 2.0T Coupe. Automatic transmission. Plenty of power to get her around. The car looks great and is a joy to drive compared to my Ford Ranger. :D

the problem is from the 6 spd manual not the auto

Just crack the computer code and you'll have a winnar!:thumbup:

They are getting fantastic power out of the stock turbo and motor...

its just that pesky computer issue.

same brakes as the track model..the amazing brembos and let me tell you they stop amazing. I test drove a Track model and R Spec

I wasn't all that interested in the FT-86 after I heard the powerplant would be a 2.0L flat 4 with 170-180hp.

BUT- also in that issue they said after the debut sometime, another engine will be offered with 230ish hp and a turbo. Now that I could live with. Subaru/Toyota style, build quality, experience, with a FR setup. Nice.
