Is it safe for me to run a 75 whp shot without a tune and my following mods?
SVT Header Swap
2.5" Off-Road Pipe
OBX 2.5" Exhaust
SVT Intake with K&N air filter
Centerforce Dual Friction clutch
9mm Ford Racing spark plug wires

The guy that sold it to me said...
"I couldn't find the 50 hp nozzle unfortunately, but I ran 75 hp all day and no problems. That's without a tune. The Zetec engine is a very rugged engine. And I did use one step colder plugs, which for us is copper. I will try to find the 50 hp jet and send it to ya, but IMHO the 75 hp shot is the way to go."

Can I leave my bottle in the hatch at all times even if I'm not going to be using it?
I'm worrying about the hot weather, can it get hot enough in the car for something bad to happen?

What other safety/miscellaneous things should I make sure I cover?

Thanks!

With colder plugs and 100 octane I'd run a 75 shot. Otherwise you are going to need a tune and pull some timing.

50 shot is about as far as you would want to risk going on a stock tune with premium fuel.

Here is a pdf with a chart showing the recomeded ignition retard vs HP gain. Last page. Its from a zex kit but it's pretty much universal with any wet kit.

Remeber

Cost of flash tuner < Cost of new engine

If you use the jet sizes from that zex pdf you will be fine too. You can get them from summit just by typing the size and "Jet" in the search.

Do not leave the bottle on all the time. Your solenoids will eventually leak and when that happens, you'll be leaking nitrous into the engine when you're not wanting it.

No, I have a remote bottle opener, so I'm going to leave it closed, and the switch off when I'm not using it. I'm just wondering if I can leave the bottle in the hatch for a few weeks even if I don't use it. Can it get too hot in the summer to cause an explosion or anything? I just wanna be as safe as possible.

Pappy was running nitrous on his untuned Zetec car for a while.

Until it blew up that is, The Zetec is tough but I'm not aware of any engine that'll deal with Nitrous for long without proper tuning.
Lol thanks for scaring me. Sad thing is, Tom wants $650 to do a nitrous tune, and that's double what I paid for everything I bought.

It is safe. If you get an overfill and it gets really hot in the car, worst case is the disc bursts and dumps the nitrous. Chances of that are pretty low.

And don't let him scare you... I sprayed my car with 75-100 for a long time and with 75 on top of boost for a long time. Just keep an eye on things and make sure everything is jetted correctly... it'll be fine.

650 is pretty steep! Id look elsewhere.

Ok I just got everything in the mail today.

I ordered 0.020" and 0.035" NX jets from Summit today to equal out to a 50 shot since the seller didn't include them. I'm also going to order a nitrous pressure gauge to mount on the bottle for $23.

Here is some of the stuff I got, and I have questions.

Here are the solenoids:

It looks like the fuel pressure safety switch is on the left. Where are the jets located tho? (I'm new to this)

Here is the remote bottle opener:

How do I set this up? He said something about a weather pack connecter being used.

Here is the bottle:

What is that green thing?

Also, he said a WOT switch is included. What does that look like/where would it be? I can't find it. I'm wondering how it is supposed to work. Would the remote bottle opener be the arming switch for this system then or what?

The jets are located between the nitrous & fuel lines and the nozzle. The green thing looks like the burst disc. It allows excess pressure to vent vs making the bottle explode. I don't see a wot switch in your pics anywhere.
