I didn't know Ryan was rockin' the XS. Ryan, how do you like that tire? What size? What size wheel?

This picture cracks me up. I flipped the course....

Brad, w are both running a 215/45/16. Really, really enjoying them. Plenty sticky. He could have gone with 235s in the rear, but the 215s is the largest he could fit in the front and it was more affordable not to stagger.

I need a co driver to help me get better....any takers? Ryan is in 1st right now in SM and I don't want him to lose points from driving my car...Anyone with decent auto-x or instructor experience want to help me squeeze some more juice out of my car at the next event on 6/6/10?

June 6 I have to be in CO. I could probably make an event after that though (pending my own racing schedule of course).

The rest of the events are listed below (click for run schedule):

Round 9 on 6/20/10

Round 10 on 6/27/10

There are only 3 events left before the actual Championship Events which so far are scheduled to take place at Golden Gate Fields on 7/11 and the final event is at Oakland on 7/18. Jen has me right now by 40 points. The competition is stiff and my times are closing....

Although it did take her crappy street tires to do it....but hey...I need the help!

June 20 I can probably make. That is the first weekend after I start working in SoCal but I could probably make the trek up. June 27 is a NASA weekend. I haven't decided how seriously I want to make NASA Nationals, and I need 5 events.

I can give you food, beer and a bewbie hug. :D If its too much with the moving, the traveling, ect...I understand...and I know my car is slow...but damn it, I won't lie, I want to win.

Kevin, you do just fine. I have my own bar set higher than it should be I'm sure...That whole my worst enemy thing.

so yea, its been a while since i posted anything on the jet. anywho...I plan on at least showing up to watch at the 5/16 event in sac AND the 6/6 event in oakland. I have been very much looking forward to getting into autox and I have no excuse not to anymore.

I'm with you man, I reached that point in Feb. If it weren't for Leslie, Ryan, and Allan, I probably wouldn't have gotten off my ass and started.

Good morning NorCal

Talked with Dan last night. He doesn't think I can make Nats since it is the week after our VIR race, but the other events shouldn't be a problem. I'm still gonna have Nats as a goal. Hopefully he just brings the cars home after VIR and before Miller. It would be tight, but it could happen.

I was also told the car is pretty much turn-key, ready to go. Flush fluids, and put her on the track. I was afraid the battery may be bad after several years of storage, but it has been started several times and he said "don't worry, I have a ****-ton of batteries"

I'm giddy like a school girl :D
