well my rings are worn to the point of pushing oil past in higher rpm. I'm not comfortable in rebuilding the block myself. So with pros/cons weighed it's most likley going to be the same price... or cheaper to just buy a built block from CFM.
The built block will net a C/R of 9.5:1 with an SVT head and if I use a stock zetec head gasket it should put me at about 9.9:1.
Now with that lost .3 on the C/R should I grab a crank OD pully and push a bit more boost or leave it alone? I just don't want to lose power from this, I at least want to stay the same or gain something out of all this.
Any other suggestions or points of fact would be greatly considered.
