lawls:p

has he gotten the tune corrected for the vac leak yet?

looking good... however doing a 1 piece pipe from the intercooler to the MAF tube... then from the MAF to the tb would eliminate potential leaks and clean things up a bit more... however it currently works and thats what matters... cant really stop and show them whats under the hood while ur running away from them now can u?

I'll clean up the vac lines and such the best I can...but I can't really delete anything as it is. Probably wouldn't hurt to have a shorter oil feed line but it's too late for that. Don't feel like dropping another $30 on something that works.

Also, just dawned on me that if I move the vacuum distro block to the driver side, it will clean things up and not have lines running across the motor.

I will get black hose for the PCV line since the red sticks out more than I realized.

Can't do much with the water lines unless I want to do some significant changes.

Hey bro hows the boosted svt running? how much psi u on? also i was kinda wondering if ur turbo was oil cooled or oil/water cooled? If its oil/water cooled how did u setup the water lines? cuz i just got a dual ball bearing turbo and it has oil/water lines and i was wondering if urs does to? or if anyone out there would know how to setup oil/water lines?

Haven't been able to tune for a while because Tom's hard drive crashed and he's recovering tune files.

My turbo is a gt2871, so yes, it's water cooled. If you look at the 6th picture down, I used the hose on the left, coming off of the plastic crossover tube. I put a 3/4" to 5/8" reducer barb in it, ran a line to the turbo, then connected the other water hose from the turbo back into the 3/4" OEM line that I cut. Very easy.

Dude whats the update on the tune?!

Alright, so I got a new reman. alternator from Advance Auto last September. It was putting out 14.2V when I revved it up to 3k or so when I had it tested back in December or somethin.

I've been thinking that maybe I'm having a voltage problem with how my car is behaving with boost. If my voltmeter is accurate, I'm only making 13.4V...even when I revved it up pretty high. With the car off, I'm at 12.4V. I have a beefed up ground from battery to chassis, ground from block to chassis, and a thick azz wire from the alternator to the battery. Sounds like my alt is shot?

I just changed the battery, harness & alternator recently.
In the end it was the alternator. Check the voltage with someone else's meter to be sure.
But if your ground is good and your battery is good (i see you have a low weight one)
then it's the alternator or the pigtail.

Checked the fiancé's voltage and it's 13.5. My voltmeter probably reads low. Even so, my car is very close to her voltage so...doesn't look like the culprit.
