Maybe a monthly thread listing events that are related to cars/trucks/racing/etc... would be fun.:dunno:

Here's what I know:

1. Saturday Nov. 6
Sanderson Ford Glendale (51st and Maryland)
Classic (and probably some non-classic) Car Show in north parking lot by the diner.

2. Saturday Nov. 13
Firebird Int'l Raceway (on their new offroad track)
Ford SVT Raptor Roundup

Basically you register, then go bomb around the brand new track in a Raptor. Yes please.

3. Every Saturday night from about 6-9 (?)
Scottsdale Pavillions
Pavillions Car Show. New and classic cars. Several hundred cars, every week.

4. Nov. 27, 28
Phoenix International Raceway
NASA Road Racing/HPDE Weekend
Normally went from about 8AM-3PM when I still went to these.

Couple more:

1st Saturday every month year around, Scottsdale Cars n Coffee at Snobsdale road and Doubletree SE corner. 8-10 am. Not quite the kind of turnout that the Pavillions gets, but last saturdays attendees off the top were.... Spitfire, Lancia Monte Carlo, Lotus Esprit, Lambo Gallardo, Murcielago, Diablo, Fiat, Ferrari 599, Testa Rossa, 365BB, 308's, 360's, 430's, Jag E-types, the usual array of vettes, Alfa Spyders, Porsche 356, 911 city, Veyron, Porsche 928 and some various American hot rods and classics.

Norterra shopping center show, Happy Valley road and just east of I-17. 6-9 pm 2nd Friday each month Oct-May. Limited parking, be early.

not sure if anyone cares about this one but "pinks all out" is supost to be recording a episode at firebird on the 20th of November. at least that is what the billboard said. I was thinking about going

That sounds like it could be fun, maybe a little get together is needed.

This weekend is the Arizona International Auto Show!

Thursday thru Sunday at the convention center. I will be working there Friday from 9-3 and Sunday from 9-2 at the Ford area!

Things to see: exotics (of course), 2011 Explorer, 2011 Boss Mustang Laguna Seca, 2012 Focus Sedan SEL, I think there might be a 2011 F-150 there, and there is the Ford Ride and Drive event going on out on the street level. The beaten-with-an-ugly-stick new Durango is there, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, and more of course.
