I got pulled over on a rainy day so yes thats correct. But you also have to have a reflection which the red lens puts off.

These are my tail lights at night. Not my brake lights. Pic is with my phone so it's crappy.

Here's mine. I inluded a night shot to show that I still have plenty of light output. They look a little bit matte like, though. I made sure to wetsand before I sprayed, but eh I like it. The only problem that I have is ever since I took my left taillight out, I get condensation inside of it when it rains. I tried sealing off the taillight with some stuff I bought from autozone, but it still builds up moisture. Can't really take it back to Ford now that it's night shaded :-/
