Which turbo manifold to go with

I am going to stress this as much as I can. NO BIAS OPINIONS PLZ.

I am getting tossed back and forth between the SSC Design manifold with a Milltek decat pipe or the Top Speed street manifold.

Let me put into the plans I have. I want to run a GT2871R and I rather run the internal wastegate. Fitment if the SSC is perfect with the turbo and the decat to the zetec motor. The Top Speed one, I can't full say because I have seen most fit but the race one I used to have had to have some modifications done to it. (This is not a bash on TS)

Price is not a deciding factor in this. Here are the products.

top speed. bryan can build u anything u need! and its lifetime warrenty and made in the USA. that 2nd part should be no brainer.

their manifolds are made to order meaning they dont fire up the torch till u tell them what your doing with it and what turbo etc. they can make it work. they remade my manifold work with a gtx3582r with 3" REAL downpipe and clear the AC just fine still.

Now you did say no bias opinions, but I don't think I can give one that technically isn't.:D

You where diffidently one of our first customers for that manifold, and I can say things have changed since then. Even since Stolles and BMyles manifolds where built, we have changed several things.

Now all street manifolds are virtually identical, other than wastegate flanges, and we have even started to phase out 2 bolt wastegate flanges for all vband flanges, which makes fitment and installation even better with the new MVS and MVR gates.

If you where to buy something today, I would recommend the exact package you linked to and the MVS wastegate.

But Bryan, like I posted. I want to run with an internal wastegate. If I did go with a wastegate, it would have to go back into the exhaust. I don't really like the wastegate dump.

The thing is the manifold and downpipe that you are comparing to our street manifold would run you $1400+ even before you import it into the USA. For $1288.95 you can go on our website and buy a street manifold configured for an MVS wastegate, our downpipe with the recirculate option, and even buy a TiAL MVS wastegate to go along with it.

And all those parts including the wastegate are made in the USA.

For both from pumaspeed would cost 903.33BSP shipped, that is 1312.18USD shipped. I really don't see the huge difference in price to really validate this.

Bryan, I have sent you a pm on this topic too.

I know but from past experience makes me want to go with RS manifold. There is more work to use it though. That is why I have created this thread.

Depends on what you consider "cruising"..... .... ..... Open dp and wg dump for the win!

Anyways, from what Ive seen of TS's work over the last year.... I'd say they are hard to beat when it comes to their fab work with dyno sheets to back it up... Just my opinion.... but from your choices, it really doesnt look like you can go wrong...

The only thing I would worry about with the other mani you listed is if it fails, how long will it take for them to get it taken care of and will they?
