Item Description: SVT Focus Foglights converted to parking lights / turn signals.
Asking/Offering Price: $100 including lenses / $50 for just the housings without lenses OBO

Many years ago I converted my foglights to parking lights / turn signals after I got my Euro grill and also got pulled over many times for driving with my foglights on. These are not just stock foglights wired to work for turns, these have been modified by me, installing an 1157 bulb housing in each housing so there are two filiments to work for parking lights and turns.

Each housing has the bulb socket secured in place with silicone and sealed from the weather as well. This setup was used for almost 4 years on my car before I got ST170 headlights and didn't need these signals anymore.

The asking price is based on the cost of replacement foglights for the SVT Focus (about $50 each) and the modifications I have done to the lights.

They will include the Silverstar bulbs seen in the pictures. They are clear (with a blue hue) when not on, but flash amber like shown in the video below. These bulbs alone are about $12 a pair.

Here's a video I made of how they look:

Here's the OK statute:

"Front fog lamp" means a lamp mounted to provide illumination to the front of a motor vehicle during conditions of rain, snow, fog, dust, or other atmospheric disturbances

A motor vehicle may be equipped with not to exceed two front fog lamps or two rear fog lamps which shall only be used when visibility, as described in paragraphs 3 and 4 of subsection A of this section, is limited to one-half (1/2) mile or less.

Front fog lamps shall be mounted on the same level on opposite sides of the front of the vehicle at or below the level of the headlamps. Front fog lampsmay be used with lower beam headlamps or switch controlled in conjunction with the headlamps and may be used, at the discretion of the driver, with either low or high beam headlamps. Front fog lamps shall not be used in substitution of headlamps, when headlamps are required.
So basically you can only use fog lights in OK when it's raining or snowing AND visibility is less than 1/2 a mile. I've been pulled over three times for running my foglights at night even though my lights are aimed not to blind oncoming traffic, and my wife has been pulled over once. OK is the only state I've seen with such a strict law.
