Don't bother with that excuse around here. Plenty of guys in MI and NH daily'd their cars last winter with the subframe ~1.5 inches off the ground. It can be done if you are willing to quit with the excuses and just do it.

Next year I might end up in Michigan, Colorado, or a couple other places that snow...and you better believe my 210k+ mile SVT with less than 1.5" of ground clearance will be daily driven in that ****. Man up.

Exactly. There are plenty of people in the great white north that have cars that are quite low. Coilovers are needed anyways, so you'd have adjustable height if you're worried about it.

i'm trying to think of someone but i cannot think of any Canadian Stanced Focus' that aren't from Vancouver or the Greater Vancouver Area that are on FJ... and we don't get much snow here in Van, just buckets and buckets and buckets of rain!

unless you mean "the Great white north" as anything north of Sacramento, Nick!

Well Mitch, I'm thinking of a little bit further from the Equator than that, maybe the Oregon border. :p

Not so much speaking of wagons being low, that's why I said cars.

ahhh ok!
i thought we were talking strictly in terms of Focus', wagons or not! :)

oh and did you know that the southern most point in Canada is further south that the Oregon/Cali boarder?

check it, Canada: 41.716461,-82.666326 OR the mainland: 41.910006,-82.509212
Or/Cali boarder: 42.005371,-122.615631
input to google maps to confirm if you don't believe me!

i win free drinks at bars with that little tidbit every time i travel to the US!

but yeah, i'd stay low year round but my winter tires are actually bigger than the stock tires for charging through the dense heavy wet snow we get out here! none of that fluffy dust you guys get east of the west coast!
