IIRC Dom's rear LCA's don't get very low. The people who are the lowest are NOT using them. So I wouldn't bother as I feel that's just throwing money away. You can get his camber arms and toe adjusters, if you can get a hold of him.

-Matt
Ah, already got rear camber arms from massive. I think when the time comes I'll see if I can get a hold of him and get a set of toe adjusters.

I have owned a LOT of wheels. 5 sets of which have been made by Rota and never once have I had a problem... but then again I don't go around driving into curbs and whatnot.
Yeah, same here on the not running into curbs & stuff. I'm more of a guy that likes to cruise around most of the time with that occasional trying to act quick whenever I see a Del-Slow(only kind of car my SPI can out power) or to impress my girlfriend's friends. But yeah, other than that I'm pretty easy going in terms of driving.

I will say though that since I have a brand new motor (blew the old SPI @12x,xxx miles) I think I will try to dog it a little and take a whack at doing a bit of auto-x over the summer for s***'s & giggles. Several of my car friends do it and have always told me it's tons of fun.

DJ if you're looking for the 500-600 range you won't find too much new, you'll need to go used. If you jump up to 1k, it really opens up your options for both sizing and quality.
I'm definitely hoping to have the 1k as a wheel budget. We'll find out Saturday for sure when/if the Drake buys the wheels!

Took a look at the Team Dynamics wheels, they're nice. But i kinda feel like they're too "super street" for my personal tastes.
I will say though, I did like the DSR's

and the Monza RS's

and the Toornado S's

Get some toe adjusters from Matt Dyldo, I mean Cydylo. Keegan Komponents is his company and his name on here is Cobrawannabe.

-Matt
Isn't Cobra one of the guys doing a euro>american Focus RS build? I remember him because I almost got a set of his front adjustable end-links. Are his toe adjusters any good? It's dumb question I know but I don't really know what/who's parts to run that have the best quality for price.

what's funny is you chose the most "super street" looking wheels they make

There's nothing "super street" about ProRace 1.2 or ProRace 1.3 wheels (except that they're available in black)

1.3

The 1.2S can be a little boy racer looking, but the look originated from the wheels being used in racing

Wow I just derped hardcore on that! I need to start drinking coffee again.

Now that I'm awake I don't even really know why I wrote that first line. I can see what you mean by the 1.2 s looking a bit "boy-racer-ish" with the thick red stripe along the edge. But I think my favorite Team dynamics wheel type is that first one I listed, the DSR. I don't know what it is about it but it just looks good.

As for an update there's nothing until I get rid of the wheels. Might throw up a rigz thread in the meantime though do to boredom!

--UPDATE--

Saturday was a success!!

The wheels have a new home now in one lucky guy's dorm room and I also got rid of my old Ebiach rear sway bar and two old stock door speakers. (Drake was actually completely sober this time.) So I've got the money to back up the wheels with some to spare!

I had been meaning to put up a picture of the rims for quite some time now, but me being as lazy as I usually am I forgot to get a picture before I got rid of them. --fixed wrong picture--:bang:

(I know this is off topic but I am happy)
Last weekend, My dad needed a new diagnostic tool because his crapped out so he decided to order me an SCT X3 w/ tune for my birthday from FSWerks which he gave me for my birthday when i went home. He's keeping the SCT up there so he can clear/check trouble codes on cars he works on. The good news is that the Tallgeese runs wayyyyyyy better and has a lot more pep.:D Believe it or not, I think now that my focus has a 91 octane tune it might even be able to outrun a Prius!

I won't be ordering any wheels until I'm positive that everything's gonna fit up right when all is said and done. also, i've made up my mind on the wheels being black. If need be, I can powder-coat them here on campus in the automotive engineering lab (basicailly a glorified fully loaded auto shop) as long as my professor okay's it.

Quick question, Just to clarify this... are the hubs on our cars 4x100 or 4x108? I keep getting it confused...:dunno:

I hope you don't/didn't think those pink wheels are RS'...Because they are not...

-Matt
Going back through my old pictures on my cellphone I thought that was them, That was from when we painted wheels for Tylers gf. should'a noticed the pink :screwy: Thanks for bringin' that to my attention. I'll fix that. When I get a chance while I'm home next time I'll get the pictures dad took of them and throw em up.

He ended up giving me $453 cash and wrote me a check for the rest. As collateral I'm holding onto a few personal items (gold class ring, some sterling silver cuff-links, his grandfather's wedding ring and an old pocket watch) until the check passes. I know it's over kill but he assured me that the check would go through and that there was nothing to worry about.

I did though think about doing that, making sure the bills were legit. But it's college and I don't think someone studying sports medicine knows how to work a printing press.

If he does screw me over I know what room he lives in!
