Haven't done much to my exhaust, not only being restricted here via dB limits, but I don't really like to be heard a long time before I'm seen :D

Man I wish I could upgrade my car with headers and such but the emissions here won't let me cause it deletes a cat and I already have a 2.5in magnaflow cat back system but I wish I could get a louder tone out of it.

I don't think I've posted this video here yet. This was a cruise to sonic with a local car club and I recorded it with the GoPro. It gets the exhaust note pretty darn good throughout the cruise so you pretty get a sense for how it sounds all over the rpm range and at how much pedal is in it. There is some spirited driving but nothing illegal (per say).

FSWerks 2.5" race exhaust bolted to the FSWerks stg 2 turbo kit with 2.5" downpipe.

Best sound points are the first couple minutes with startup and leaving the parking lot, at 4:30 when I get on it a bit to catch up on the highway, 23:00-24:00 going next to a barrier and under an overpass, and 25:30 - finish pulling into sonic.

I'm ordering a new exhaust set up in the next week or so. Where would be the best place to get a hold of a Magnaflow setup? I'm torn between the FSWerks Race setup and a Magnaflow set up. But the Magnaflow is a bit pricier than I'd like to invest at this time.

Yea I've found a full 2.25" Magnaflow shipped for $394, the FSWerks system would be $402, and the Trubendz set at 2.5" with a Magnaflow muffler is the least expensive at $360 shipped. I think I'll go with the Trubendz, for pricing, as well as because of your video above ^^^. That sounds great.


Corkey, which muffler option did you go with? The Magnaflow or the Aero?
