I did a little research on Fun Ford Weekend:
1. They hold multiple events a year at mostly drags strips (it seems) around the country. So, by nature, they aren't "National" events.
2. It looks like they are recently under new management, and that is because they weren't doing that great.
3. I found this thread, which says that even the new owners haven't been able to turn the tide, at least yet:

"… from the looks of the recap photos, it doesn't look like the attendance is very good."
It's a regional drag event at best. And ZERO competition for Carlisle.
Ken, I know that Clor has mentioned FFW to me before. But, I don't know what Ford's involvement is with it. It surely can't be as large as what they do with you guys. I hope they do support it and that Clor attends both. It will only solidify who does it Bigger and Better.
