2004 SVT Focus ZX3
All lights work on the car except the brake lights while pressing the brake pedal.
Running lights work, hazards work, turn signals work.
I checked fuse #42 and it is good.
Bulbs look good, especially since the turn signal and hazards work.
Where do I start?

Thank You,
Jon

Since it's clear it's not a bulb issue I would look at the brake pedal itself and see if when you depress it there isn't a short or some faulty wiring. Especially since it is both brake lights and not just one or the other.

I think it might be the brake light switch, but I don't know of a way to test it. I ordered a motorcraft replacement switch that should arrive tomorrow morning. Really need to figure this out since I have to drive 250 miles on Sunday!!
