Was the tune you loaded stored in the Predator? If so you may have loaded the Powerworks tune.

-Steve
As far as I know Steve, and from what Pat told me, the tune on the Predator was Casey's tune from his car and not a Powerworks tune. It was the only tune on the tuner, so we put it on… and the car started, and ran relatively well. I had a whole separate ECU that has a Powerworks tune on it, but I didn't want the car towed to Ford.

If Pat flashed his car back to stock then the tune from Casey would have been lost, the Predator won't store it that way. Only way to get Caseys tune back into the Predator and into the car would have been by hooking the Predator up to a PC and loading the tune back on the Predator. Then loading it into the car. Unless Casey did something weird and his tune is the only one stored in the Predator. Not even sure that can be done.

I'd be REAL careful running it the way it is now, at least until you know for sure what you're dealing with.

Car is being driven by Chris for the past two weeks, to get out any kinks or issues with it… Casey will tune the car on the dyno this Saturday to make sure it's just right. After Saturday, it will be ready to go!!

I'd warn Chris about the tune just in case.

Well, JUST in time for winter (snow is in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday this week) my car is tuned, ready, and back on the road!

Car was tuned a bit late, on October 9th by Casey and Hitech:

Of course when I brought the car in on 9/26 to initially get tuned, it developed an oil leak. I just had Hitech replace the oil lines and fittings, and replace the oil block plate with one from Jegs. We also had an issue getting the intercooler pump wired, so I had them do that up for me as well. They did that all up and tuned the car on the Dyno.
This was the result:

Mileage on the car when picked up after the tune:

I was just short of my goal, Casey who tuned it, said the cat needed to be replaced, and a HFC would surely get me the added "oomph". So I picked one up from C-F-M!!

One more time, into the garage it goes for the install:

Out with the old, in with the new!

Done, complete and ready to GO!

The car was absolutely FILTHY after not being cleaned and taken care of cosmetically for 3 months, so I took the liberty and washed it down with a good foam cannon and some Chemical Guys products:

The car drives amazingly, and the whine of that S/C is SO darn addicting, it begs you to go MORE! It's also far easier to drive, as with the air intake and larger TB, the throttle response is SO much better! It made the drive home at 220miles away with NO issues whatsoever. I can't thank Chris, Steve, Matt and Josh enough for all their help, support, tolerance and assistance to get the car completed (and a huge thanks to all those PWSC owners that gave me their input). It was a LONG 7 month summer to get it all done up, but it's SO nice to have the car back home in the driveway!

More pictures to come as I continue to get it cleaned up, sorted up and ready for it's close up!

Too cool man, hope to see it at shows next year. If it ever disappears from your garage you definitely shouldn't bother coming and checking mine... haha

What do you have going on in your garage, other than your SVT? Looking for a clean, PWSC'ed, yellow SVT? lol!

Excellent, really good to see!! I bet it's a blast!

Is that Bart in that one shot?

-Steve
Correct Steve, that's Bart. Interesting chap indeed. Just glad to have the car back home where it belongs.

My SVT is sadly long gone, my A4 Avant is the only thing going on and it's been a great daily but I still miss the SVT's. Come next summer I should be in my own place though and I just may have space for a very clean, PWSC'd yellow SVT! I sure would like having one in there anyways.

I've also heard some interesting things about Bart... from a friend who got totally screwed over by him.

That thing is clean. :megusta:

Your AFR looks a little wonky from 5k to 6k rpm which is causing that dip in power. It's almost like the PCM is still expecting the DSI to switch over. Have you talked to your tuner about that?

Good spot Casey. My understanding is that the guys at Hitech know domestic V8's and that's about where it ends so its a safe bet that wasn't accounted for
