Been cruising around on the rigz page for a while and been messing with my little focus for a little bit here and there time to add to the forum and hopefully keep it alive! Started off getting tint 20% on the passenger/driver windows and 5% on the quarters and hatch I'll have to upload my photos of putting on the focus central coils this weekend and planning on getting some nice SC wheels off american muscle within the week! trying to research what tire to stretch to clear it with some nice fender roll and a little pull if needed!

I got an HKS exhaust going on this weekend i don't like the fart can so going to the exhaust shop down the road and having them cut it and putting just pipe straight out then and intake and SCT can tune from FSWERKS is all that's planned for now with the SC wheels going with the black and polished lip trying not to do any aftermarket camber just going off stock camber from the lows pipe dream is SAP front and rear bumper and rebuild the turbo i have AR .50 put that on oh the woes of money lol

Please do not ruin an HKS exhaust, it sounds and looks far too good to be ruined like that.

Sell it and buy something else that you like the look of, don't hack up a quality part.

Easy to make that exhaust look great. Don't have to spend the cash on Volk TE37s but it sure helps.

Plus the sound, it's one of the best made for the car, and removing the canister will surely screw up that sweet exhaust note.

PS - There are plenty of ways to be a ricer. For instance, talking about 'camber and lows' is a good way to start. However, a quality authentic HKS exhaust isn't.

Yes please sell the HKS, there are very few of the systems kicking around and they are great at what they do.

If you want a certain look then just get a custom exhaust made.

Which SC wheels did you get? Size & offset wise...

whiskerz I didn't buy any yet but 17x8 and 20 et looks manageable from doing a little searching
Depending on what you plan on doing height wise you may run into some problems, ET20 is kind of aggressive on a 8" wheel in the front of a Focus. I know because I tried, didnt work for the height I was running, even with stretch and about -2 degrees up front.

In the rear however ET20 is do-able, just look at my build thread with pictures on Rotiform BLQ those are 17x8's ET30 in front, ET20 in rear. I ran a 205-40-17 Ohtsu FP7000 on mine which gave a nice stretch.

hmmm well I can't afford rotiform and I'm struggling to find wheels within a reasonable budget...Rotiforms are EXPENSIVE! plus ESM does not make wheels for the focus anymore so that was a huge downer and the only set for sale I could find were 17x8 and 17x9 which the stagger on a FWD car seems a little ridiculous to me

Dude what state are you in? I'll trade you my FSWERKS exhaust for the HKS. I'm serious.

If you don't mind the look (I'm with you...I'm really not a fan either) the sound is EXCELLENT. Definitely one of the best sounding Focus exhaust systems, besides the SVT Borla (in my opinion).

I don't like the fart can look but if it sounds as good as everyone says I'm gonna give it a go because if it doesn't look BAD per say but sounds amazing eh 90% of the time I'm inside the car and it doesn't look as bad as I woulda thought from the pictures but I gotta wait till this weekend to put it on and see for myself

The nice thing is, it'll need a race header to really make any noise at all.

So as oppose to sounding like a weed eater, with a race header it has a very diminutive tone and it's very deep. And with the stock cat, it almost sounds stock with slightly more tone.
