What size Width and offset would i need to run a 17" wheel On my current set up to get rid of wheel gap and get a nice stance/stretch

2003 FORD FOCUS ZX3 3DR
Seen someone run 204/40's on ESM's 17x8.5 and it looked really nice and cleared his set up but Don't know about mine please help!
Wheel Spec(size/width/offset):
17x??? ET???
Suspension parts:
Focus Central coil overs (they place the rear spring over the shock) Koni yellow fronts with eibach springs....rear is svt shocks and eibach springs gonna change rear shocks soon looking at H&R

Drop and alignment spec:
2 inch drop stock alignment

205.40r17 tires stretched on a 17x8 and find an et from et30-38; would be a decent setup, not too extreme as far as fitment goes and will look good. Just need to find a good set of wheels, not a ton of choices from off the shelf brands in 4x108 for that. For example, ESM no longer sells 4x108, youd have to find them sold used.

Although, not sure what that will look like with only a 2" drop, most are lower. What are your current fender heights; from the ground to the center of your wheel fenders?

I'd say a 215/40 on a TD PR 1.2 would do the trick. Common setup, but it is common for a reason: It works.

2" drop should put him around 25.0" - 25.5".

I'm out in the ocean until beginning of December so I can't really measure it. I found NS9002 can't find anything about em but I like em they are 17x7.5 with a 38 offset on carid.com that are 4x108 using tyrestretch.com to look up a nice stretch 195/40 looks like a decent stretch not too extreme not too subtle...I'm pretty new to this been reading around and seen people running them on wider wheels but haven't seen any advice on that one just that people use it would that be solid to run? I'm waiting until I get my new shocks on and wheels/tires to play around with the height of the car since it is bouncy in the rear atm so trying to research and talk to the experienced guy aka you guys see what's what so I can make a good informed decision Thanks for all the help in advance also

I hate asking questions that have probably been answered but 177 pages is a lot to go through.

I have some eaps and my plan is to slap on some coilovers but i want to fill out the wheel well a bit.

Eaps offset is et49

I found some 10mm or 12.5 axle adapters from europe that would go on the rear and then 10mm wheel spacers for up front, that would put the offset at 39. My question is what size tires would be a good fit?

That depends what look you're after. You want a meaty track look, good size for daily driving, or stretch stanced?

Will the 17" option just not be able to fit enough meat?
Well it was because you specified a meaty look, 16s will give much more meat than 17s. You can do it with 17s but it will be ALOT more expensive.

So I have a question for all the stance people here. I'm looking to order wheels but want to make sure everything's going to fit in lowered at about 23 inches height wise all around and about 2 degrees of camber in the rear and I forgot the fronts camber. I'm trying to fit a 17x7.5 et 38 and was going to run a 205 45 17 tire. Will they fit without much effort or are they going to need minimal work to fit.

Will a 17x7 with et25 be a lot of work to fit on a wagon?

Edit: I ended up with 16x7 Rota Slipstreams.
Shouldn't be too difficult, you may have to roll your fenders slightly with that offset depending on how much you lower it.

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

You'll be fine with those specs. Once you get to running an 8 inch wheel is when you need to do a little math so everything fits without rubbing.
