The SVT springs would definitely be an upgrade- so if that's where you're going, go right ahead.

The SVT Springs will go one mine sometime soon... but has anyone answered the question of the swaybar? Is the stock (st) bar the same as the SVT, or is this something else to throw on at the same time?

I think the stock ST rear sway bar is 20mm, & the SVT is 21 or 22?? So it's a judgment call I'd say. David didn't say anything about the bar, he just said he had the springs, so for him, I say go for it & don't worry about it.

A set of calipers and a quick crawl under the rear of the car will determine the ST bar size for sure.

SVT bar is 21mm

I think the ST just has a 20mm bar though

I'd recommend buying the Progress 22mm rear bar if you wanna upgrade the sway bar
Comes with poly endlinks & bushings and a bigger bar
Compliments the SVT suspension really nice

Just don't try to trail-brake with it. You'll get into trouble.

I just went to look (yea, should have just checked to begin with). 20mm it is. I'll probably pick up the SVT susp kit and keep the dampers around when it's time to replace the one's from the factory.
