havent tried it but the bypass units on the mazda 3 is different than the focus one.They are not the same pats as you may be led to believe,But again ive never tried,What i do know is that they take completly different bypasses for remote start so if that is any indicator i wouldnt waste the money,Cool loooking thing thou

I would be afraid to spend $100 on something that might not work... could you not have the dealership test one for you to see before you bought it?

well you can just purchase the key, which I am going to do... have them cut it and such so I can see if that part works...

i have a vid of the unit in beta action its a bit dark but works on the 05 sema car except for the walkup feature"wich is stage 3"
ill try to get it hoseted today
As far as the pats to do the mazda keyfob conversion,you would have to locate it less than 4 inches from the pats antenna ring on the cylinder or the pats will not recieve the signal

Would it be a problem to get the whole euro setup from the key to the ignition switch to swap it out with the US spec focus?

that mazdfa key is huge and looks unpolished like the VW and Porche and Mercedes and even the honda key christ its like huge, and poorly desighned. Id rather a UK foucs key or I hear a jaguar jey will work and there much better to, If your dead set on it get a damn used key fob from a mercedes and gut the inside and mount ur key in it, No buttons will work but then neiter will the ones on the maxda key.
OragneZXt the whole hiding the key is super till your car gets stolen, plus the key i heard must be attached to the pats to get it to work anyways?

Hmm, just spent 6 months driving a Mondeo with that same Euro key. I don't see any benefits at all, the buttons have a poor feel, are hard to locate while in your pocket and the key is smaller, hence less leverage when turning and the angles make your fingers slip off. Doesn't seem like an upgrade to me.

i wish i could get that but i have a aftermarket remote starter have has a crazy remote. i think its pretty nice. Too bad they don't hook us foci lovers up like they hook up others. we don't get much from Ford. damn it.
