#1 Spark plug stripped out--What now?
I don't know why, but my SVTF just spit out the #1 spark plug. Ok, I was accelerating away from an apex in 2nd approaching the redline. But I had already been around the track for a session before and was about 3/4 around my first lap of my second session. Anyway...
I towed it to a nearby Ford dealer. Should I just suck it up and buy a new OEM head? Anyone have an idea what they will/should charge me? I will be PM-ing FORDSVTPARTS for his sanity check on the head price, but can anyone advise me on what to expect for labor? Are SVTF heads even available? The aftermarket heads I've seen all seem to be standard Zetec.
